How it works

Reduce reverberation?
The most effective way is with acoustic spray.

Our acoustic spray is made of cellulose and is sprayed seamlessly onto ceilings and walls.

Thanks to its porous structure, it absorbs sound waves and significantly reduces room reverberation. This creates more pleasant acoustics, minimizes noise pollution and improves speech intelligibility.

Akustikspritz can be applied to really any ceiling, adapts to the desired shape and integrates lights, spotlights, fire alarms, pipes, cable ducts, ventilation, etc. without any complications.

Our acoustic measure is very effective and only requires a few millimeters of room height and a few per thousand of the construction sum.

Good acoustics.
Good arguments.

In contrast to acoustic panels or ceiling sails, our solution preserves architectural and design freedom while delivering superior sound absorption.

Another point: our acoustic plaster is very sustainable. Like paper, it consists of cellulose and a natural, water-based adhesive.

Good solution.
Simple implementation.

We support your project from start to finish: during the planning stage, we help you choose the right type of material, texture and color, make all the preparations and carefully apply the acoustic spray using spraying machines.

During the final inspection, surfaces and impact points are checked. We are only satisfied if you are happy.

Good quality.
Zero maintenance.

Once the acoustic spray has been applied and dried as a solution for soundproof ceilings and walls, the acoustic element requires hardly any maintenance or cleaning, even with intensive use.

Something still happens? If necessary, the spray plaster can easily be adapted or supplemented at a later date.

Examples of good room acoustics in Switzerland

Holcim Campus, office building for the building materials producer in Zug

Acospray DC3, Concrete Grey (ILA), 25 mm

At Holcim's new headquarters in Zug, the acoustic measures adapt to the free forms and materials of the building. kustik applied Acospray DC3 in Concrete Grey (ILA), 25 mm directly to the complex ceiling geometries. The result is a homogeneous, sound-absorbing surface made from recycled cellulose that calms the sound in the room and blends seamlessly into the diverse worlds of light, materials and atmosphere.

Office foryouandyourcustomers in Zurich

Acospray DC3, white, 25 mm

The offices of the consulting firm foryouandyourcustomers show how acoustic spray works. With Acospray DC3, white, 25 mm, the reverberation was reduced by 70 %. Conversations are clear, meetings are more relaxed, the working environment is quiet and productive.

Studio Restaurant, Bar & Club in Zurich

Acospray DC3, black, 30 mm

Acospray DC3, in black, 30 mm, was used in the studio in Zurich. The reverberation was reduced by 90 %. The acoustic spray creates a wide night sky, improves the sound and brings the atmosphere into focus.

Private house in the Zurich Oberland

Acospray DC3, white, 25 mm

Minimalism meets good room acoustics: Acospray DC3, white, 25 mm, was used in a residential building in the Zurich Oberland. With 87% less reverberation, the result is a calm, harmonious feeling in the room - acoustically excellent, aesthetically restrained.

To all projects

Good questions:

  • The acoustic spray is highly versatile, seamlessly integrates into any design, and provides a continuous, smooth, and aesthetic surface with exceptional acoustic performance.

In contrast to acoustic panels or ceiling sails, the architecture and design freedom are retained while at the same time improving sound absorption. We therefore offer a design acoustic absorber solution.

Another point: our acoustic plaster is very sustainable. It consists of cellulose.

  • Acoustic spray plaster is versatile and suitable for rooms where a pleasant sound atmosphere is important. These include offices, restaurants, schools, hotels, supermarkets, health centers, living spaces, museums, event halls, etc.

It is particularly advantageous in large, open or reverberant rooms, as it is integrated inconspicuously and significantly improves the room acoustics. Even in small rooms, Akustikspritz calms the atmosphere and creates an appealing sense of space. Take a look at our references and see for yourself.

Since acoustic spray is cost-effective and environmentally friendly, it is often used in warehouses, workshops and garages.

  • We realize surfaces in five different textures from "structureless, very smooth finish" with our Acoplaster F to "coarse-grained spray texture" with our Acospray DC3.

We offer twelve standard colors: White, Cool Grey, Concrete Grey, Anthracite, Black, Terracotta, Denim Blue, Olive Green and the four special color blends of the Green Line product line. You are welcome to order samples of these colors and textures.

We can create your individual color by adding water-soluble pigments to the adhesive. We create special effects by additionally spraying on acoustic paint. With careful processing, the acoustic values are retained.

For international corporations and larger projects, we are also happy to produce the cellulose fibers in a selected, exclusive color.

  • Yes, acoustic spray plaster can be planned and applied even for existing or planned pendant lights, spotlights, ventilation pipes, cable ducts, motion sensors, WLAN devices, air conditioning systems, etc.

    • Spray over variant: Acoustic spray plaster can be applied to all ceiling and wall surfaces, even if technical installations are present. Due to its seamless application, it adapts to the conditions. We often apply the spray plaster to installations such as cable ducts and ventilation pipes. The acoustic absorption is additionally enhanced and the visual effect is often appreciated.

    • Integration variant: Any object, be it lights, ventilation ducts or air conditioning units, can remain accessible. In this case, we protect the objects and the acoustic spray is applied specifically around them. With a few simple steps, we ensure a clean finish. For spotlights, motion detectors, etc., we create intermediate pieces using a 3D printer to embed them at the same height as the spray plaster surface.

We will be happy to work with you to find the optimum solution for using acoustic spray plaster in your project.

  • We accompany your project from planning to implementation:

    • Planning: First, we clarify the acoustic requirements and design wishes. We help you choose the right type of material, texture and color. With a brief inspection of the rooms, we ensure that all interfaces are clarified and that there are no surprises.

    • Preparation: The substrate must be sound, clean and dry. Depending on the condition, a primer or bonding coat is applied to ensure optimum adhesion. We carefully protect all walls and floors with a waterproof cover.

    • Implementation: The plaster is applied in several layers using a spraying machine. The layer thickness varies depending on the desired sound absorption and surface appearance. This is followed by controlled drying.

    • Completion: We check the surfaces and impact points. If desired, we can carry out an acoustic measurement. Because we stand for excellent room acoustics with appealing aesthetics.

Our assignments are usually quite short. Thanks to good preparation, a lot of experience, our team and our warehouse in Switzerland, we usually complete our work within a few days.

And yes, we are also there for you immediately after the project if corrections or improvements are needed.

Good discussions, good preparation, good work, good products and local proximity remain fundamental to an inspiring result.

  • Acoustic spray plaster is low-maintenance, does not wear out and requires hardly any maintenance or cleaning, even with intensive use.

If needed, the spray plaster can be easily adjusted or enhanced at a later stage.

  • We promise: Our spray plaster provides the best acoustic improvement for every franc spent.

We would be happy to make you an offer.
