Acospray DC1
The DC1 impresses with its extremely fine texture. After a spray of up to 20 mm, it is smoothed again. For better sound absorption, an Acoboard can optionally be used as a substrate.
Acospray DC1 is available in white and in your desired color.
Specifications
Acospray DC1 is a sustainable and sound-absorbing spray plaster with a smooth finish. The outstanding acoustic properties are achieved by a mixture of cellulose fibers in combination with polymers and water-based binders. The material can be applied in a thickness of 5 to 20 mm.
In order to achieve very high absorption values, it is possible to apply the spray plaster to a mineral wool panel with a total thickness of 40 mm (3 mm adhesive, 30 mm panel, 7 mm Acospray DC1).
The material is applied using a special spraying process in which several layers are sprayed on crosswise. To obtain a smooth surface, it is then smoothed. This creates a diffusion-open surface with a very fine texture.
Acospray DC1 can be used on almost any surface. Thanks to its hygroscopic properties, it can be used in swimming pools or extensions to living spaces, such as balconies. The weight after drying is a light 2 - 3 kg/m² per 10 mm application thickness.

Dust and cobwebs can be removed using a vacuum cleaner with a soft textile nozzle attachment. Another option is cleaning with dry ice. We are happy to offer a maintenance contract for both options on request.
-
Small repairs are carried out manually, medium-sized repairs with our mini machine (38 kg) and large repairs are carried out with the standard sprayer (200 kg).
-
The material can be sprayed over using an airless spraying technique. The application of paint with a paint roller is not recommended.
-
After moistening and 24 hours exposure time, the material can be easily removed without leaving any residue.
-
The substrate must be clean, dry and airtight (drywall joints must be sealed)
The surface quality of the substrate determines the evenness of the final result
Acoprimer promotes adhesion, prevents leakage and moisture saturation of the substrate
Junction boxes and the like must be extended by the thickness of the insulation layer
If a flush finish cannot be achieved through the wall or window/door frame, an end profile of 10 mm thickness or more must be fitted
Metal parts must be pretreated against corrosion
Assembly using mobile scaffolding or lifting platforms
Temperature during processing ≥15°C
Installations/wall sections are sprayed with a standard thickness of 10 mm
To speed up the drying process, we recommend the use of fans and construction dryers; a moisture meter is provided to monitor the process
Cuffs or 3D-printed constructions are available for spots
