Our contribution is excellent room acoustics .

We are enthusiastic about our seamless acoustic spray plaster and smooth acoustic plaster as sound absorbers on ceilings and walls. This allows us to improve rooms both functionally and aesthetically, facilitate good conversations and increase well-being.

  • Perfect room acoustics require more than just a high αw value - effectiveness in the relevant frequency ranges is crucial.

Our products such as the Acospray DC3 already achieve an αw value of 0.45 at 10 mm and αw = 1.00 at 35 mm. From low speech components (250 Hz) and the fundamental tone (500 Hz) to articulation and clarity ranges (1-2 kHz), we deliver measurably excellent values and thus comfortably meet the SIA 181/1 standard.

The result: clear speech, less reverberation and excellent intelligibility - even in demanding environments such as studios, theaters or conference rooms. And all this with minimal space requirements.

  • We believe in real value for money: our acoustic systems cost between CHF 80 and CHF 200 per m², depending on the material, layer thickness and building conditions. In most cases, 66 % of the ceiling area is sufficient for 0.6 s of reverberation.

Thanks to a long service life, minimal maintenance and simple repairs, the TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) is unbeatable. This means: invest once, benefit for a long time.

Where other systems require extensive maintenance or expensive replacements, our solution remains stable, functional and visually appealing - for years to come. This ensures acoustic excellence and cost efficiency in one.

  • Whether gently integrated into a purist design or a striking design statement - our acoustic spray plaster follows every architectural idea. Freely realizable in shape, color, texture and contour: from seamless ceilings, soft vaults to complex geometries. Surfaces can be smooth, grainy, mineral or deep black, depending on the room concept. Feel free to browse through our references.

Ideal for new buildings as well as for renovations where the acoustics fit seamlessly into existing structures. Design unique spaces for private rooms, offices, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, sports halls and industrial buildings. We ensure that they are just as convincing acoustically as they are visually.

  • Our acoustic systems not only create peace and quiet, but also a healthy indoor climate. Thanks to their diffusion openness, they regulate moisture naturally, support thermal insulation and prevent mold growth. The surfaces are anti-allergic - dust, bacteria and micro-organisms cannot find a foothold.

With emission class M1, we meet the strictest health standards. The fire behavior group RF2 allows the use in almost all public areas, provided that no higher fire protection requirements apply. Ideal for schools, hospitals, administrative buildings or places of assembly where safety and well-being need to be in harmony.

  • Our cellulose base comes from 100% recycled sources. The material used is in turn fully recyclable, completely plastic-free and based on natural materials. Production takes place in Central Europe with minimal use of energy.

We are Cradle2Cradle Certified® (Bronze) and are committed to continuously improving our sustainability standards. This is how we combine acoustic excellence with ecological responsibility - so that good-sounding rooms also have a good future.

  • Our acoustic spray systems adhere to almost any surface - whether concrete, wood, plaster, metal and much more. They are installed using spray technology and do not require a complicated substructure.

Thanks to efficient application and fast drying (approx. 7-14 days), we minimize construction delays. If necessary, drying can be reduced to just 2 days using dehumidifiers.

Our Swiss team of specialists ensures precise execution, flexible scheduling and rapid availability. This keeps your project on schedule - and in the end, the acoustics are just as impressive as the construction quality.

  • Our acoustic surfaces are extremely low-maintenance. Dirt can be easily removed without impairing the function.

In the event of damage, we can repair specific areas - quickly, cleanly and visually unobtrusive. The durable materials withstand everyday wear and tear for many years. This saves you effort, costs and time in maintenance, while the acoustic quality is permanently maintained.

  • Our acoustic spray plaster consists of cellulose fibers and a water-based binder. This makes it an extremely lightweight material (approx. 1.2 kg/m² at 10 mm) with impressive adhesive strength - 736 times its own weight.

The structure is elastic and prevents cracking by adapting to component movements. At the same time, the surface is UV-resistant, color-stable and open to diffusion, which contributes to a durable appearance and a healthy indoor climate. With no harmful additives, the choice of material stands for safety, sustainability and building physics excellence.

Living sustainability.

Our acoustic spray plasters are essentially made of cellulose, i.e. wood - a material that is not only an excellent sound absorber in this form, but also stands for sustainability.

Acoustic excellence and a good room atmosphere are relevant results for our customers. The fact that we also go the extra mile for sustainability is only partially visible. Of course, certifications such as Cradle2Cradle are presentable confirmations. But what is fundamental to us is our attitude and how we as kustik strive for sustainable improvement.

Good questions:

  • Good spaces enable good conversations, good work and even a good life.

Good room acoustics are an essential part of good rooms. They ensure greater intelligibility, less noise and a pleasant feeling of space. They reduce stress, increase concentration and improve communication and cohesion - whether in the office, in restaurants, schools, conference rooms or living rooms.

A sensible first step towards excellent room acoustics is strong sound absorption across the entire ceiling. Acoustic spray is particularly well-suited for this purpose. It establishes a solid foundation, and any further improvements can be made later, if necessary, and adapted to the specific situation.

  • Acoustic spray plaster is a sound-absorbing plaster that is sprayed onto ceilings and walls without joints. Thanks to its porous structure, it absorbs sound waves and reduces reverberation in the room. This creates more pleasant acoustics, improves speech intelligibility and minimizes noise pollution. This not only increases comfort, but also the efficiency and well-being of the people in the room.

Like paper, the spray plaster consists of cellulose and a natural, water-based adhesive.

  • The acoustic spray is highly versatile, seamlessly integrates into any design, and provides a continuous, smooth, and aesthetic surface with exceptional acoustic performance.

In contrast to acoustic panels or ceiling sails, our solution preserves architectural and design freedom while delivering superior sound absorption.

Another point: our acoustic plaster is very sustainable. It consists of cellulose.

  • Acoustic spray plaster is versatile and suitable for rooms where a pleasant sound atmosphere is important. These include offices, restaurants, schools, hotels, supermarkets, health centers, living spaces, museums, event halls, etc.

It is particularly advantageous in large, open or reverberant rooms, as it is integrated inconspicuously and significantly improves the room acoustics. Even in small rooms, Akustikspritz calms the atmosphere and creates an appealing sense of space.

Since acoustic spray is cost-effective and environmentally friendly, it is often used in warehouses, workshops and garages.

  • We realize surfaces in five different textures from "structureless, very smooth finish" with our Acoplaster F to "coarse-grained spray texture" with our Acospray DC3.

We offer twelve standard colors: White, Cool Grey, Concrete Grey, Anthracite, Black, Terracotta, Denim Blue, Olive Green and the four special color blends of the Green Line product line. You are welcome to order samples of these colors and textures.

We can create your individual color by adding water-soluble pigments to the adhesive. We create special effects by additionally spraying on acoustic paint. With careful processing, the acoustic values are retained.

For international corporations and larger projects, we are also happy to produce the cellulose fibers in a selected, exclusive color.

  • Yes, acoustic spray plaster can be planned and applied even for existing or planned pendant lights, spotlights, ventilation pipes, cable ducts, motion sensors, WLAN devices, air conditioning systems, etc.

    • Spray over variant: Acoustic spray plaster can be applied to all ceiling and wall surfaces, even if technical installations are present. Due to its seamless application, it adapts to the conditions. We often apply the spray plaster to installations such as cable ducts and ventilation pipes. The acoustic absorption is additionally enhanced and the visual effect is often appreciated.

    • Integration variant: Any object, be it lights, ventilation ducts or air conditioning units, can remain accessible. In this case, we protect the objects and the acoustic spray is applied specifically around them. With a few simple steps, we ensure a clean finish. For spotlights, motion detectors, etc., we create intermediate pieces using a 3D printer to embed them at the same height as the spray plaster surface.

We will be happy to work with you to find the optimum solution for using acoustic spray plaster in your project.

  • We accompany your project from planning to implementation:

    • Planning: First, we clarify the acoustic requirements and design wishes. We help you choose the right type of material, texture and color. With a brief inspection of the rooms, we ensure that all interfaces are clarified and that there are no surprises.

    • Preparation: The substrate must be sound, clean and dry. Depending on the condition, a primer or bonding coat is applied to ensure optimum adhesion. We carefully protect all walls and floors with a waterproof cover.

    • Implementation: The plaster is applied in several layers using a spraying machine. The layer thickness varies depending on the desired sound absorption and surface appearance. This is followed by controlled drying.

    • Completion: We check the surfaces and impact points. If desired, we can carry out an acoustic measurement. Because we stand for excellent room acoustics with appealing aesthetics.

Our assignments are usually quite short. Thanks to good preparation, a lot of experience, our team and our warehouse in Switzerland, we usually complete our work within a few days.

And yes, we are also there for you immediately after the project if corrections or improvements are needed.

Good discussions, good preparation, good work, good products and local proximity remain fundamental to an inspiring result.

  • Acoustic spray plaster is low-maintenance, does not wear out and requires hardly any maintenance or cleaning, even with intensive use.

If needed, the spray plaster can be easily adjusted or enhanced at a later stage.

  • We promise: Our spray plaster provides the best acoustic improvement for every franc spent.

We would be happy to make you an offer.
